Vaccinations are one of the most effective ways to protect your child's long-term health. We use the same trusted resources recommended by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and HealthyChildren.org, and we are always happy to walk through what is recommended at each age.

Why we follow the standard schedule
The AAP vaccine schedule is not arbitrary. Every dose is timed to give children protection at the age they are most vulnerable to that disease. Spreading vaccines out or skipping doses leaves real gaps. We would much rather have an honest conversation about your concerns than have you delay protection for your child.
What a vaccine visit looks like
Vaccine visits at our Thibodaux office are paired with well-child checkups when possible so we can answer questions, review what is coming and minimize trips. We use comfort measures appropriate for each age, and we walk you through what to expect for the next 24 to 48 hours before you leave.
Adolescent and catch-up vaccines
Teens need a separate set of vaccines. HPV, meningococcal and Tdap boosters are all recommended during the adolescent years. If your child missed vaccines earlier, we can work through a catch-up schedule to get them protected.
