Helping you make informed decisions
Parents deserve honest answers to their vaccine questions. Here's our approach, the reasoning behind our recommendations, and how we work with families every step of the way.
Our approach
Preferred Pediatrics follows the vaccine schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. We follow it because the science is clear: vaccines prevent serious illness, save lives and protect entire communities, including babies too young to be vaccinated and children who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons.
Trustworthy, respectful guidance
We understand that vaccines often raise important questions, and we encourage open discussion. Our goal is to provide clear, respectful guidance. We believe meaningful, informed conversations are far more valuable than a simple yes-or-no response.
Looking for accurate vaccine information?
We encourage families to visit the Vaccine Education Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a nationally recognized resource that provides clear, science-based answers to common questions about vaccines, immunization schedules, vaccine safety, and preventable diseases. The site offers up-to-date information for parents, caregivers, and adolescents, helping families make informed decisions with confidence. If you have additional questions, our pediatric team is always available to discuss your child's individual healthcare needs.
