What are your office hours?

We are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. For urgent issues outside office hours, call our office number and you will be connected to our answering service to reach a provider on call.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes. We welcome new patients from newborns through young adults. Call (985) 449-7529 or use the Schedule Now button to get started.

What insurances do you accept?

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Gilsbar, Humana, PPO Plus, UMR and many others. If you do not see your insurance listed, give us a call and we will confirm.

What should I do if my child gets sick after hours?

Call our office at (985) 449-7529 and you will be connected to our answering service. A provider will be in touch for urgent concerns. For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Where can I find trusted online information about my child's health?

We recommend two sources we use ourselves: HealthyChildren.org, the parent-facing website of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, especially their Vaccine Education Center.

Question 6

What vaccines does my child need?

Accepted Answer

We follow the AAP-recommended schedule. For an interactive schedule, visit vaccine.chop.edu. For specific questions about your child, bring them to your next visit and we will walk through them with you.

How early can my newborn be seen?

We can see your baby as early as 3 to 5 days after birth. Many of our families schedule the first visit while they are still pregnant.

Do you do sports physicals and school forms?

Yes. Call ahead so we can schedule the right amount of time and let us know which forms you need filled out.

Can I bring siblings to the same appointment?

Yes. Just let us know when you schedule so we can plan the visit length.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Call us as soon as possible at (985) 449-7529. We appreciate at least 24 hours notice so we can offer the slot to another family.
