A vision comes to life on East Sixth Street
After renting for several months on Bayou Lane, Preferred Pediatrics moved into a small, converted home with a vision that pediatric care should be personal, compassionate, and connected.
A new home on Rue Marguerite
As our patient family grew, we outgrew our space and moved into a clinic thoughtfully designed for children, featuring a castle room and an ocean room to make visits more welcoming and fun.
Catherine Fangue joins the team
Our first nurse practitioner, a Thibodaux native and mother of two, has been part of our work family for more than 15 years.
Hayley Chatagnier joins the team
A Thibodaux native and a mom herself, Hayley brought new energy and the same heart for this community.
Today, we care for families from across the Bayou Region, including Thibodaux, Houma, Morgan City and Vacherie, and the surrounding parishes of Lafourche, Terrebonne, St. Mary, St. Charles, Assumption and St. James. Seeing generations of families return to us is one of our greatest honors. Some of our patients today are the children of patients we cared for years ago, a testament to the relationships and trust that define our practice.

Our office was thoughtfully designed with children and families in mind. From our playful Castle Room to our calming Ocean Room, we've created spaces that help kids feel comfortable and at ease during their visit. We also maintain separate areas for different types of appointments, helping to create a healthier, more comfortable experience for every family.
